No Gym, No Problem

Alright guys...I got 4+ weeks of no training on y’all!! 🤪🤯 So I’m mentally prepped and ready to motivate you through this tough time. It took me about 2 weeks for my brain to be on board with not training. Now at least most of you can workout at home or outside!! What I wouldn’t do to just get a quick little home workout in?! But I’m completely devoted to doing my recovery the right way. So please appreciate the fact that you can still move!!

I’m not gonna lie, if I had been working out at full capacity and was told I can’t go to gym due to this virus I would have been furious and freaking out! We understand this is needed, but it’s hard not to be bummed!! I know I personally don’t AND can’t get near as great of a workout at home...kids, dogs, just lack of motivation. It’s hard when you’ve worked so hard at something and you feel like it’s been taken away. The old me had illogical fears of my body completely resorting back to what I looked like 4 years ago and all of my muscle wasting away

But here is the deal, you are going to be OK!! I am living proof. I know it doesn’t feel that way right now, but you will. You may not be making major gains right now, but maintaining is progress

I find that in general a lot of people over train and don’t rest enough, I was 100% guilty. So this is probably a much needed little break for your body. Many of my clients don’t eat near enough food for the amount of activity they normally do day to day and honestly this little slow down will be good. It’s hard to convince some people they don’t need to train so hard. I’m all for activity, but you gotta eat to support it

Remember you can always control your diet. This has been key for myself during my rehab. And this doesn’t mean you need to necessarily go out and slash your macros because you feel you’re not working out as hard for a couple of weeks. You will be fine. I’m a living example

Also, so important to note, god forbid you do get sick in ANY WAY... take care of YOU. The last thing you need to worry about is fat loss and macros. Eat, stay hydrated, rest and heal. Let me know how I can help! ❤️SC
