Goals for New Year

2020 was a tough one no doubt. Not even considering the crazy events of this world, I had some major struggles. BUT I wouldn’t change a thing. Without my physical health being tested this year I wouldn’t be where I am right now. I have learned that I’m stronger mentally and physically than I ever realized and it has given me the greatest perspective on life. So, as much as I hated being injured a quarter of the year, it was also a huge wake up call and gift.

As we enter a new year, remember that if nothing changes, then nothing changes. If something wasn’t working before it isn’t going to work in a new year.

What were some things you learned from last year’s efforts? What were you doing that wasn’t working? Did you try to go at things too aggressively? Were you able to sustain what you were doing? Were you consistent?...if no then why? Were you constantly restricting food? Were you moving enough? Take a hard look at what worked and what didn’t and make some changes.

My general assessment on why physique goals fail is that people go at things way too hard core and can’t translate them into real life. Sure you can do something for 30 days and lose some weight, but can you maintain it? If you can’t maintain it then I believe there is no point. It’s wasted time and energy and often leads to further disappointment in yourself. So make your choices wisely and be prepared to commit.

My next group coaching session starts Jan 4th. My goal is to show you how to make this a lifestyle change and what to do beyond the cut. Check out my profile link under macro coaching for details! Have a safe and Happy New Year!
