Making Small Changes
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this excuse. “I don’t have the time.” But we seem to always have time to watch our favorite TV show each night or even workout most days? Why don’t we have the time to do something that affects our entire day and can make the biggest impact? Working out is great, don’t get me wrong, but if you want to change your physique you HAVE to understand what you are putting in your body. There are very few people who are going to be able to make changes to their body without being mindful to their nutrition
So if time is your excuse, try taking away ONE workout a week and start tracking what you eat and make sure you are eating to whatever your goals are! Deficit? Maintain? Surplus to gain muscle? You will get SO much more out of this time versus another 45 min on the treadmill a week
I always tell people and clients, tracking food is not as hard as you think. It doesn’t need to be full force and perfect day one. Start small and work your way up. If you aren’t meeting goals, maybe dial in a little more. I don’t spend more than 10 min a day tracking my food. If I don’t do right it right as I’m eating it, I usually do it while I’m waiting in line at drive thru or a grocery or whatever. I promise the benefits are worth the extra time a day. Once you see results you will think why didn’t I do this earlier?
Let me know how I can help! The possibilities are endless when you are in control of your food.
