Maintaining muscle

I know having muscular physique is not for everyone, but it is for me! Some days I am in awe of how much strength I have! I can do things in and out of gym I never dreamed of

I am happy with my look and don’t feel I need to add any more, but obviously still need to maintain it to a point. Can’t just get to a goal body or weight and expect to just stay there without continuing to put in the work. I’ve heard many say they believe maintenance can be harder than deficit. There is such a fine line of staying where you are at without allowing old habits and ways to creep back in your life

I know my mind goes there a lot too and I’ve gotten comments from followers...”you are in such good shape can’t you just eat ice cream whenever you want??” Well unfortunately NO. For me, allowing myself treats whenever I wanted is how I got myself 40lbs heavier. I get to eat plenty of food at this stage, but the majority of it needs to be quality food so I feel full and can fuel my body for my workouts

There is no secret meal plan and I wish I could say it was easy. It is hard work every day and staying consistent. Sometimes if we want results we have to do things that are not fun...But it is all possible!! I’ve been struggling recently eating in slight deficit and no refeeds. The mind wants to cave. Going to do this thru end of week and then back to maintenance. You can do anything you put your mind to! ❤️SC
