Body Composition
Since I’ll be at a wedding today it reminded me of my own wedding day and how different the same weight can look on a person. Focusing on a number over change in body composition and you will lose sight of a lot of magic happening. I remember exactly how much I weighed on my wedding day, because, like many women, I was obsessed with the number on the scale at the time. Today I weigh roughly about the same amount if not a little more!!
I don’t weigh in often, but it hovers around 3-4lb radius and I am up about 7lbs since I left deficit. The number means absolutely nothing to me at this point because when I look in the mirror I feel strong and proud. I felt beautiful on my wedding day, but I do remember being a little disappointed I didn’t lose those last couple pounds? Like I would have looked significantly different if I did?!! So no matter what your body goal is, please remember your number on the scale does not define you. It’s is such a small picture of what is happening. And honestly, hyper-focusing on it certain stages of the game, can hinder your progress tremendously. Let me know what you think?! Happy weekend
