A healthy tomorrow

Yesterday I was doing chemotherapy education and I’m always thankful for the reminders my patients bring me as their nurse

Fight for your health. Even when you feel your body is failing you, don’t give up. Now obviously I’m not even close the same circumstances as my patients, but I couldn’t help, but think about the times I haven’t appreciated my body. The times where I took it for granted or expected too much. What about being thankful for the fact that we have a healthy body that can move and be active. I can eat whatever I want and not feel sick from disease. The simple, smallest things that some people (my patients) would do anything to have

Some days I really have to remind myself how lucky I am. The promise of a healthy tomorrow is never guaranteed. Every single day my job reminds me that someone is fighting a harder battle than you. Remember that. ❤️SC
